Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Droid Dwarf ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you play Frenzy Four (the "Game") on Android and iOS. We've tried to write it in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at droiddwarf@gmail.com.
The short version. Frenzy Four is free and ad-supported. We don't ask you to create an account or give us your name. To show ads, measure crashes, and run the optional leaderboard, a few pieces of technical data (like an advertising ID and device info) are processed by us and trusted partners such as Google. You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time in your device settings.
01Who we are
Frenzy Four is created and published by Droid Dwarf, an independent game developer. For any privacy question or request, you can reach us at droiddwarf@gmail.com. We act as the data controller for the information described below.
02Information we collect
We do not ask you for your name, email, or any account sign-up to play. The information processed by the Game falls into the following categories:
| What | Why | Processed by |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID & device info | To show ads (including the optional "watch an ad to continue") and limit how often you see the same ad. | Google AdMob |
| Crash & performance data | To find and fix bugs and keep the Game running smoothly on your device. | Analytics provider |
| Anonymous play statistics | Aggregate, non-identifying stats (e.g. sessions played, average run length) to improve the Game. | Analytics provider |
| Score & chosen nickname | Only if you opt into the online leaderboard — to display your best score and the name you pick. | Droid Dwarf |
| Email & message content | Only if you email our support — to reply and resolve your issue. | Droid Dwarf |
Your high score is stored on your device by default. It is only sent to our servers if you choose to submit it to the leaderboard.
03Advertising
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may process your device's advertising identifier, coarse device and network information, and general ad-interaction data. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized (based on inferred interests) or non-personalized (contextual only).
- Android: open Settings → Google → Ads to reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization.
- iOS: the Game will only use the identifier for advertisers (IDFA) if you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
You can learn how Google uses this data in the Google Privacy & Terms.
04Analytics & crash reporting
We use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand stability and aggregate usage — for example, how many runs end in a crash, or which device models we should test on. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
05The leaderboard
The online leaderboard is optional. If you choose to submit a score, we store the score and the nickname you enter so other players can see the ranking. Please don't enter personal information as your nickname. You can ask us to remove your leaderboard entry at any time by emailing droiddwarf@gmail.com.
06Children's privacy
Frenzy Four is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Where required, ads are configured for the appropriate content rating.
07How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Game:
- Google AdMob — advertising.
- Our analytics / crash-reporting provider — stability and aggregate usage.
- Google Play & the Apple App Store — distribution and (where relevant) their own analytics, governed by their privacy policies.
- Legal — if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our players and us.
08Data retention
Leaderboard entries are kept until you ask us to remove them or we retire the leaderboard. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and for our records. Advertising and analytics data are retained according to our providers' standard retention periods.
09Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Because we collect so little, the fastest way to exercise any right is to email droiddwarf@gmail.com and we'll help.
10Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to keep things safe and minimal.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game evolves or as laws change. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, note it in the Game or on this site.
12Contact us
Questions, requests, or anything else? Email droiddwarf@gmail.com and a real person at Droid Dwarf will get back to you.
This page is provided to help players understand our practices. It is written in good faith but is not legal advice. Before publishing on the app stores, Droid Dwarf should confirm the exact SDKs in the final build (e.g. the specific analytics provider) and, if needed, have the wording reviewed for the regions it ships to.
